A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Center for Smart Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability, United International University (CSIRS-UIU) and Kingsley Eco-Tech & Engineering (Australia) Pty Ltd on 11 November 2024.
Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor, United International University (UIU) was present as the Chief Guest in the ceremony. Min Zhou, Managing Director, Kingsley Eco-Tech & Engineering (Australia) Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia was present as the Guest of Honor. Among others, Prof. Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman, Department of Civil Engineering & Director, Center for Smart Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability, UIU, Md. Asiqur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation, Sukumar Dhali, Chief Operating Officer, Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation, Kazi Mohiuddin Jilany, Chief Business Officer, Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation and Dr. Rumana Afrin, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Civil Engineering & Associate Director, Center for Smart Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability, UIU were present in the ceremony.
Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman, Director of CSIRS-UIU, and Min Zhou, Managing Director of Kingsley Eco-Tech & Engineering (Australia) Pty Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations. The signing ceremony was attended by deans from various faculties, heads of different departments, the registrar, directors, faculty members, and high-ranking officials from both organizations.
In this MoU, Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation will mutually exchange latest technological development and collaborate to ensure combined partnership for Wastewater Treatment in commercial, residential and institutional sector in Bangladesh with CSIRS-UIU. Both of the Parties, will share the reports and relevant data for the enriching the joint endeavor to ensure the best output of the research and development. CSIRS-UIU will provide the facility for laboratory testing & analysis and Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation will participate accordingly as per mutual understanding. Kingsley Engineering Service Corporation shall also support and collaborate in research activities/ projects including, providing one prototype model of STP for CSIRS-UIU as per mutually agreed terms and conditions. The Parties agree that model shall be used for research purpose.
