Dr. Tariq Bin Yousuf

Dr. Engr. Tariq Bin Yousuf is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the Solid Waste Management sector. He obtained his PhD from Loughborough University in United Kingdom and both an MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

His career includes significant roles that reflect his expertise in the sector. Dr. Yousuf has served as Additional Chief Engineer and Project Director at Dhaka North City Corporation, focusing on urban resilience, public space development, solid waste management, and fecal sludge management. He has also worked with prominent international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and UN-HABITAT as an individual Solid Waste Management consultant.
