The Center for Smart Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability (CSIRS) aims to foster inter-disciplinary research, knowledge dissemination, policy advocacy, capacity enhancement, and industry collaboration to contribute to resilient and sustainable infrastructure development that would enhance the quality of life and economic prosperity of our nation.
At CSIRS, we focus on conducting interdisciplinary research with an emphasis on IoT- based design and
operation monitoring as IoT integration would provide real-time data, encouraging data-driven decision
making, and leading to a more resilient and sustainable infrastructure development.
Bangladesh faces a myriad of infrastructure challenges. The escalating pace of climate change only amplifies the complexity of achieving sustainable solutions. Here at CSIRS, we’re dedicated to leveraging SMART technology to address both urban and rural infrastructure
challenges. By fostering interdisciplinary research, industry collaboration and disseminating knowledge, we will move forward.
