Syeda Aniqa Anjum is a Research Officer at the Center for Smart Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability (CSIRS-UIU) in United International University. She started her role at CSIRS on April, 2024. She earned her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Her undergraduate thesis, “Assessing the Correlation between Volume of Vehicle and Noise Level Using Artificial Neural Network”, involved developing a feed-forward ANN model using MATLAB, where she explored the relationship between traffic volume and noise pollution. Her research also included data visualization techniques using RStudio. In addition to her thesis, she completed a capstone project focused on the “Construction of a Pedestrian Bridge on Rampura Khal & Canal Improvement Project.” Her research interests include water pollution, water treatment technologies, and sanitation.
