Cypriaan Hendrikse is born and raised in The Netherlands and has 35 years of experience of preparing, executing and managing large infrastructure projects in the field of ports, marine construction and dredging. He has worked in executive roles as a contractor, consultant and port operator.
He worked amongst others for APM Terminal (Maersk), Van Oord, NMDC, Moffatt & Nichol, The Ocean Cleanup, Arcadis and CDR International. His projects on his name are, amongst others, Palm Island in Dubai UAE, Tuas View A and Changi Airport in Singapore, Moin Container Terminal in Costa Rica. His passion is to develop large projects on and around the water. Currently, he is busy helping to solve 3 major worldwide problems: plastic waste pollution, flooding and carbon crisis.
He founded the company Oceanbound to solve the plastic pollution of the oceans by setting up business in every country under the mantra to protect the environment whilst adding value to waste.
Another company he jointly set-up is to reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere significantly using the expertise described above. His specialty is Building with Nature. He and his companies are proudly part of SNH Global Innovations. He is a graduate of the Delft University of Technology with a Master in Science in Civil Engineering.
